New 2009 Medical Form! Get yours handed in ASAP.

Posted: Apr 14 2009 - 7:06pm

Some of you may have heard about a new BSA medical form. Let me try to answer your questions and clarify the situation.

Starting January 1, 2010 an Annual BSA Health and Medical Form (attached) will replace all old medical forms and be required for all activities. This means that until the end of this year you can continue to use the old forms (Class 1/2 and Class 3). You can still re-sign an old form, if needed and if it is within the 3 year limit, for this year only. Keep in mind that if your scout needs a new physical for summer camp or some other activity it might be a good idea to use the new form since all old medical forms will expire at the end of this year, no matter when signed.
